I'm 65 years old and have worked out with Chris for the past 4 years. He is very knowledgeable about fitness and wellbeing, including diet, body composition and mechanics, movement, strength, and flexibility. He's a good and patient coach meeting clients "where they are" and encouraging and supporting steady progress toward their fitness goals. I have worked with many trainers and am glad to have found and stuck with Chris. I recommend him highly.
I have been going to Chris since 2013. I had many personal trainers before him and he has by far been my favorite. I workout with him 3 days a week but if I could I would go 5 days! He is extremely professional, reliable and effective. He is very knowledgeable as well. He answers any questions about both food and exercise in a way that is easy to understand. I’m so thankful I found someone I enjoy working out with so much and I would recommend him to my friends and family
Training with Chris has been a truly rewarding experience. Working with a personal trainer is often overlooked especially by people who have been active and fitness-driven for their entire lives. Working with Chris has allowed me to gain a completely different approach and mindset to my individual workout program. Under his guidance I am able to pinpoint my weaknesses, make the correct adjustments, and continuously progress towards gaining strength. Before we began our training program, Chris and I discussed my personal fitness goals and he has made sure to cater our workouts specifically to the goals that I had in mind. Our primary focus has been to generate increased power. Through his very professional attitude and approachable personality, I would recommend Chris as a trainer to anyone who is looking to enhance their fitness experience.
My name is Chris Thompson. I am a certified personal trainer through NASM while also holding advanced certifications in corrective exercise and performance enhancement. I have 12 years of experience working with clients of all backgrounds, helping them reach their goals as well as understanding the unique variables that affect their success long term. My philosophy on training revolves around a desire to help others and build an understanding of how their body moves. Once this understanding is established applying exercise in a progressive and efficient manner becomes simple. This system and skill set has been effective in servicing over 10,000 personal training sessions.
Outside of the gym, I enjoy time with my family, including my wife Angie, son Andre, daughter Layla, and Great Dane Tolby.
